Introduction:
Crown Villa RV Resort offers beautiful, spacious sites and high end amenities. While it is quite pricey for nightly stays during the high season, the park offers large discounts for monthly sites in the offseason.

The Basics:
Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Campground website: Crown Villa RV Resort
Our Site #: 429
Privacy Rating (how spacious and private do the sites feel):
4.0/5: These are some of the most spacious sites we've seen in a commercial campground. There are large grassy areas between sites and mature pine trees throughout the campground. While guests have direct line of sight to their neighbors, given the space between RVs, it doesn't feel like anyone is on top of anyone else.
Location Rating (accessibility to points of interest or to major highways):
4.0/5: Crown Villa is conveniently located in the southeastern section of the city. While there's not much within walking distance of the park (it's located in a mostly residential area), guests are just a few minutes away from large shopping areas, and just about 10 minutes from the main commercial districts. The city of Bend has everything one could want and is very convenient.
Site Quality and Big Rig Accessibility Rating (utilities and accessibility of campground hook ups):
5.0/5: Site quality here could not be better. Each site is absolutely enormous, surfaced with brick pavers, and offers a large, lockable storage shed (perfect for bikes). Each site also has a covered trash can and recycling bin which can be put out any time of day for pick up. Sites are almost uniformly level (a couple have a bit of slope, but nothing terrible). Utilities worked perfectly. (Note: There is a small section of partial hook up sites at the front of the park which were not as appealing as the regular sites. I also did not find the more expensive "platinum" sites or the pull through sites to be significantly nicer than the standard "gold sites.")
Technology and Customer Service Rating (online resources, reservations, campground wifi, and staff):
4.5/5: You can make reservations online, however, I called because I was making a monthly reservation. The folks who work there are very professional, very friendly, and know their stuff. They were great about receiving packages for us and we were able to top off our propane tank during our visit.
Overall Value Rating (the overall value of the campground; was it overpriced for what it was?):
5.0/5: Given the offseason rates we enjoyed, the value was fantastic. Would I pay their daily rate in the summer? Probably not. But if you can get a monthly site in the shoulder season, it is truly a great place to set up.
Summary:
Crown Villa RV Resort is one of the nicest commercial parks we've visited since we've been on the road. The sites are enormous and offer plenty of space, while the entire campground is beautifully maintained. Customer service is excellent, the amenities are top notch, and the city of Bend offers a great time to all who visit. While this park is out of our price range for their daily rate, their monthly rate during the offseason is more than reasonable. We would absolutely return if we found ourselves in the area over a shoulder season. (Note: Crown Villa was recently bought out by Sun RV Resorts. We saw some indications of this while we were there, but since our stay, the old website has gone dark and web traffic is now being redirected to Sun. It is not clear whether this change will have any impact on prices or other policies.)
